The odometer shows students the current miles they've walked so far..

Mileage is based on the number of participating students and the
district's daily reading goal.
The "Minutes to Miles Conversion" is different for every district. Large or
small, Go-Joe does it all.

information about how Go-Joe adjusts to the size of your district can be
found in the [District Goal] option. In larger districts, it requires
more reading minutes to walk (1) mile. In smaller districts, it requires
less. Big or small, all mathematical computations are completed
automatically. Using student population, district reading goal, and
length of project; Go-Joe determines the daily reading minutes needed
by students. |
